For decades, much of Ecuadorian coffee traveled the world with only part of its story attached. Today, buyers
are increasingly seeking a deeper connection to origin the landscapes, producers, and microclimates that give each lot its unique character

Kilómetro Cero was born to change that. We are a Specialty Coffee export company founded at the literal center of the Earth.

With one clear purpose to ensure that every lot of Ecuadorian coffee travels to the world with full transparency, technical precision, and the name of the producer attached to it.

Kilometro Cero was built by two Ecuadorian women who have spent their careers at the intersection of coffee, commerce, and community one from the soil, one from the market.

Carla’s path into coffee started from the commercial side as International Sales Manager at Elaborados de Café El Café, she witnessed a critical gap: Ecuador had world-class conditions to produce exceptional coffee, but most of the value was being captured outside the country. That gap became her starting point. Today, through INOBA CAFÉ and as President of Kilómetro Cero, she leads a model built on regenerative production, technical rigor, and a clear conviction that Ecuador belongs on the global specialty map.

Gaby is a third-generation member of a coffee-producing and trading family. With a Master’s in Economics and Coffee Science from Italy, she has spent her career building bridges between Ecuadorian origin and specialty markets worldwide with a grounded obsession for quality, traceability, and fair producer recognition. Her vision: that the stories of Ecuador’s coffee producers reach every corner of the world.
